Dark Super Sonic is a transformation of Sonic the Hedgehog appearing in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series published by Sega. This corrupted form is typically triggered by extreme negative emotions, such as intense anger or sorrow. Unlike Super Sonic, who is powered by the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds, Dark Super Sonic draws on negative energy.
